Kuppalli
Kuppahalli situated at a distance of about 16 Kms. east of Thirthahalli and 81 Kms. from Shimoga. This is fascinating locality which is the birth place of the great poet 'KUVEMPU(Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa)'. There is the famous spot here know as Kavishilla where where the poet in his young days used it sit and contemplate.
