Shikaripura is a town in Shimoga district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the headquarters of Shikaripura taluk. It has an average elevation of 603 metres above sea level.. It lies between plain land of Bayaluseeme and tropical forests of Malenadu. Shikaripura is situated at a distance of 52 Kms from Shimoga.
