Sigandooru Chaudeshwari Temple
Sigandooru is a holy place of Goddess Chaudeshwari. A large temple of Goddess Chaudeshwari is situated here. Sigandur is a small village surrounded by green and backwaters of River Sharavathi in Sagar Taluk of Karnataka state. This Goddess is a highly believed deity in Sagar and the surrounding taluks as a protector against theft and robbery. Coupons for entry will be distributed on first come first serve basis.
Travel
From Sagar, there is a deviation from B.H Road. It is about 40 km from the main road. The road has a stop and the vehicles have to be carried on a special boat and the journey continued.
